Miniature Painting - No 16 - Trotting Blacktail Deer
Miniature painting No 16 is a Columbia blacktail deer.
It was actually from a photo of a blacktail doe I took in Astoria, Oregon. But I sort of converted her to a buck....added a little muscle, thickened the neck and, of course, added antlers.
I was also trying to get a more "painterly" style here. :)
